I don't want to sound dumb but i have a few questions about things that I have seen on this site.
#1. What is popcorning?
#2. What is a URI?
#3. Why shouldn't you buy things from pet stores?

Popcorning-When a guinea pig jumps and leaps wildly around the cage/floortime area.
URI- A deadly disease that can kill a guinea pig if not treated early. URI stands for Upper Respiratory Infection.
Why not to buy at petstores- Because that supports the petstore/animal trade which is cruel and stressful for the animals and they often die. Look at the kitchen forum and you will find things about it there.

If you want to read more about why petstores are such a bad place to buy from read threads like this one and make sure you click on the link about petstore cruelty. You need a strong stomach for it though, it's really hard to watch.

Don't breed or buy while shelter pets die: Petfinder.com: Adopt a pet and help an animal shelter rescue a puppy or kitten.

There are too many homeless pets. Buying from pet stores supports pet mills and backyard breeders.
