So, now starts my quest for a new pig. I know what I'm going to do, but I might need some help. What are the benefits you people have found from having two guinea pigs together? Did it reduce noise? What was the end result?

Re: Benefits I have happy pigs. Reduce noise? I doubt it, I like the noise anyway. Piggers are much happier to have a play mate when you aren't able to be around.

Re: Benefits With two it seems the piggies run around playing more. They also popcorn more. I started out with one piggy, then when I got my second piggy Frisky, it seemed to bring out the personality of my first piggy Peppers. With going from 1 to 2 piggies I didn't seem to be buying much more fresh veggies or hay than having just 1 piggy. Now I'm up to 6 piggies, so I definitely buy lots of veggies and hay and pellets now!
