Need advice on crying GP

Hello,

I need some help with my 6 month old female GP. I recently moved to a new apt. and have put Gigi out in the F.Room. Last night she cried almost the whole night. Is there anything I can do to make her feel better? She had plenty of food/water.

Thank You,
Gigi's Mom

If she is alone, get her a same sex friend. That is the best thing you can do for her - aside from proper diet and a large cage. They are herd animals and do much better in groups of 2 or more.

A quick fix is to give her a stuffed animal. I had to do this when I had to separate our male baby from mom. I gave him a stuffed monkey. When he got his new home I sent the monkey with him. He now lives with another male Guinea pig in the lap of luxury.
Does she have a pigloo? A pigloo with a fleece blanket might help too.
