My guinea pig farted!

Yes, yes. Call me silly and immature. But after watching a very depressing youtube video about puppy mills, I needed something to cheer me up. I guess Tsunami picked up on this. I was laying on the floor next to her cage and she just let out a really loud fart! LOL I mean I laughed and laughed. I know that they get gas just like any other living being, but I didn't expect something that loud to come out of something that little and cute. That totally made my night.

P.S. She doesn't have EXCESS gas. It was just a little (and loud) poot.

That's funny, guess she knew you needed a little pick me up. I've not heard mine do that yet. But when I hold my biggest boy Frisky. Every once in a while I'll be picking him up or snuggling him, if my hands anywhere near his little sac down there-I can feel a rumble in there like gas is going on in there. It kind of feels weird feeling it move around in there!

Wow, guinea pigs fart?! I honestly didn't know that, until now. I learn something every day.

I don't think my piggy ever gassed. But wow, that's really funny.

It cracks me up too. Especially when they just look at you and keep on about their business like nothing happened!

My husband blames the piggies all the time. But sometimes...it actually IS the piggies! LOL!

We have a large lab/boxer mix dog named Rowdy and he'll be asleep on the couch and all of a sudden there will be this horrible smell hit the room. He only does it while asleep. It's horrible, he does it almost every night.

My dogs do it alot, tis so awful !

I think Tallulah has done a few now and then and made me paranoid about excess gas but none of the others have.

I have never heard a piggie fart, that must be hilarious. I will tell you my bulldog takes the cake on that one, he has scared himself they are so loud, but the silent ones will clear the house.

This morning I was holding Piglet all wrapped up in his blanket like a baby and he kept farting in the blanket. He just makes little quiet noises but it is funny.

One time when he was a baby he accidentally peed on my jeans and then turned and hid his face like he was embarrassed.
