Question Can you help me? Please!

There is another member of this forum with pigs I fell in love with months ago! I now have the chance to have them but they are 750 miles away. I live in MI and they are in NY. I am more than willing to drive 450 miles or so but I am asking for your help to bring them a little closer to me. I really want these girls but I just don't know I can do the whole 1500 miles round trip. All I can think of is a Chugga Chugga Wheek Wheek train. Can you help?

Re: Can you help me? Please!

Wow NY is a big state! I have been mapping out a route and I am wondering if I could even get help from Plattsburgh to Buffalow NY. This would cut my drive time one way from 12.5-6.5. I am desperate, please help. Thank you

Re: Can you help me? Please!

It looks like I can make the trip next Saturday 3/1 and pick them up Sunday 3/2 and come home. Would that work for anybody?

Re: Can you help me? Please!

The shortest way for me to get to NY is to go from MI through Canada. Does anybody know if I need a passport to drive in and out of Canada? I think I just need Drivers License and birth certificate. I am still trying to get help getting these girls a little farther west in NY (from Plattsburgh to Buffalo) I am begging for help! I am gong to start working on my existing cage today. That should be fun. I hope intros go well when I get home.

At first, I read this as if you had fallen in love with a member of this forum.

I immediately pictured a wedding in a pesticide-free park, with each guest holding a guinea pig.

As far as I know, you need a driver's licence and birth certificate to cross the border. Eventually you will need a passport to cross the border (land crossings) but that has not come into effect yet. There are no restrictions on bringing guinea pigs across the border so you have no problem there.
