what would be some good things to get 2 new piggies?

First I want to say how much I like this site, along with cavy spirit and cavy lynx. Next I would like to dedicate our new piggies to Tyty. He was our first piggie, we lost him in the Rodeo-Chediski fire over the summer. He was only 6 months old He was a wonderful piggie. We want another piggie, but decided this time to get two piggies from a rescue ( we bought Tyty from a small pet store...didn't know better then).
My husband build a nice big cage for Tyty out of wire, but we want to build a nice C&C cage for our two new pigs. We (my husband and son and I) will go to pick up the piggies on May 12th We want to have the cage all ready for their arrival. My son is 16 and is high functioning autistic, he was very attached to Tyty and misses him very much. He wanted to get two piggies from PetCo to breed and have babies, but thanks to the cavy spirit site I was able to read to him the dangers of breeding and then the sad fate of many of the babies. He decided that maybe it would be better to rescue two piggies instead of adding to the problem He is growing into a pretty smart young man .
Sorry kinda got off track. Anyway we are excited about our new family members and want to make a speical home for them. We really didn't have the chance to buy a lot of toys and things for Tyty so I would like any ideas that anyone has to make life the most enjoyable for our new families. I know about the basic pellets, fresh veggies and fruit, vitamin C and timothy hay. But what about salt? Toys? chewies? anything else that anyone has found that your piggies just loved. Thanks

[/b]They like simple toys like paper balls, wood houses, pinecones, grasshutches, cardboard boxes, hammocks, and piggie sleeping bags! Mine have never liked wood chews. They just chew on their houses and stuff. Mine like salt licks but we only give it to them once a week, because we heard that salt isn't to good for them in large amounts. GOOD LUCK!:rollin:D[i]

i got my pigs material cat beds to play and sleep in. they absolutely love them and curl up and go to sleep in them.
they also butt a ping pong ball around with their nose!
