I got approved! I applied to adopt a 4th pigger and they approved me. I am super excited. We are looking to bring him home in a few weeks after we settle down from our move but I thought I would go ahead and apply. I have had my eye on sweet little Monty for a while now so I am hoping when we have my boys meet him that they get along. I don't care who it is though as long as things go well. Here is the cute little Monty though.

Sad news... I found out that sweet Monty had an ear infection that ended up leaving him with some motor issues and he wont be able to be put with other male pigs. Poor little fella is young too so he has a long life ahead of him.

We are still going to check out the other bachelors that they have and see who would make a good new brother for my boys though. I will be sure to let you know how it goes when we go.

I'm not really sure. They told me in email that they are waiting until they have a baby girl pigger to put him with to see if she would be gentle enough for him to have company.

Yeah I do believe they said all of their boys are neutered. I have all boys so it wasnt really a major concern for me. That does bring up a question for me though. How well would one neutered male get along with three unneutered males? Would it make any difference?

Neutering doesn't change their behavior it only eliminates the ability to reproduce. So it shouldn't make a difference if one is neutered and the rest aren't.
