| I was giving one of my boys his daily combing, and I noticed that he has some flakes all over his back. He doesn't seem to have the same scabs as my other pig had when he got mites, so If it's not mange, what is it? |

| Re: Not Mange again.... Could be dry skin due to the dry winter air, could be skin damage, if you gave him a bath with really anything but kitten shampoo and even then, if you did not rince him well recently, it could be a fungal infection. I would still treat for mites, lay off the hair products, and keep a close eye on it. If it gets worse, may want to look at fungal treatments... |
