I'm so happy (and tired)

Well the day came that I literally have been dreaming about for months now. I was so excited I woke up earlier than usual and got to work soaking, cleaning and redoing everything.

Sammy and Elvis met on the couch this morning, after 3 weeks of anticipation (well mine anyway ). They sang a song of teeth chattering which turned into curious squeaking, a lil butt chasing and after an hour some mounting. Elvis seems to be the dominant one. I wasn't too surprised seeing as he is a bit more feisty than Sammy.

After a few hours of being on the couch, I decided to introduce them to the newly redone Cavy Mansion. It is a 5x 2-3/4 (still not sure how it got cut wrong but oh well ) with a 2x3 loft. I am still trying to get them to use the ramp. I made it at a gentle incline, so hopefully they will catch on soon.

They have been pretty kind to each other.. lounging on the fleece next to each other, sharing dinner and even eating new veggies (still no peppers though for either). They have been having lots of fun, running around, dodging in and out of houses and tunnels.

I was excited and nervous all at the same time. I am not sure on either's age. I just know Elvis is younger and Sammy has to be 1 yr +. Thankfully it seems the age bracket and personalities mesh well.

I just wanted to say a BIG thank you for teaching me on how to adopt, care, house and spoil my pigs. I have had a great day and as happy as they are.
