cut between lip and nose

I first noticed this cut a while ago but it wasnt scabbed and I thought that she just had a dark spot, I didnt think it was a cut. I then noticed that what i thought was a ddark spot went away. The cut has reappeared in the same spot it didnt seem to bother her or cause her any concern but it was hard and scabbed. It seemed to be getting better but yesterday I noticed that it looked worse instead of better. I was wondering if anyone has experience this with a pig or knows how this can be occuring, can it be from chewing on her wood house or anything like that? Also, my other guinea who lives with her does not have this same problem and I have never seen it on her before and they are handled everyday.
I have attached a picture, the best pic i could get from her.

Re: cut between lip and nose

I have no experience with this but the only thing I can think of to do is anything that could possibly do it to her in the cage remove now and see if she gets better.

When I got my bunny he had a scabbed over cut on his lip that I looked at everyday and within a week it went away. Whatever he was around before I got him must of hurt him but since he is with me now and is away from whatever it was he is better.

Re: cut between lip and nose

My bf and I have checked her cage a few times for the possible source of this cut but we do not see anything that can be causing this. When we built her cage we were very careful and made sure everything was safe for the guinea pigs. And like I said the other one doesn't have this same cut and the both touch and run in the same places so I am really at a loss.
