 High metabolism? This is just a quick comment, and a question. I feed my guinea pig unlimited hay, pellets, and about a half heart of romaine lettuce or a handful of cilantro a day, and when I try to give my piggie floor time, he just sits there. He barely moves, and yet he has never been obese, and his his target weight. Is there an explanation for this? Does he just have a high etabolism? I know he isn't getting excercise in his cage because he doesn't have enough room(I'm wokring on his C&C cage) |

| Re: High metabolism? Some just aren't used to the floor time yet. They will be in time. Give them some hidey houses, too. |
