| Question about sounds Well we've had our piggies for almost 2 weeks now. Tiger Lily is pretty quiet but Tinkerbell has gotten very vocal the last couple days, even a loud "wheek" when I gave them their veggies last night. It was so loud it startled me! When I hold her she makes these noises and I'm not sure if they're happy noises or scared noises. I don't know how to describe them. I thought I saw somewhere here a link with different noises but I can't find it. Can anyone help me out? |

| Re: Question about sounds The loud squeeks is them asking for food to humans. I had mine for a year and a half and they have learnt that at 8.30 in the morning I give them their dry food. Well, around that time if they see me around getting ready to work the make the loudest squeeks ever! So do not worry at all, you might have some greedy little piggies as I do. I think they can actually smell when I am out of shower all ready and perfumed and is like they reminding me "give me food before you go mumy!" Also in Guinea Pig Sounds you can find some sounds. Otherwise, just type "guinea pigs sounds" in google, I bet you find loads. Good luck. |
