C&C cage big enough?

I just bought myself some storage cubes for my new C&C cage, but I found out that my table is not quite wide enough for 2 grids, but it is for one and a half. Is seven grids times one and a half grids big enough for two pigs? I'm also adding a second or third floor so that they have enough room on the first to do piggie laps, but is 7X1 1/2 big enough?

I think it may be a little too narrow

Re: C&C cage big enough?

Yes, sounds a little narrow. The table my cage is on is not quite big enough either, so it overhangs a little bit. This doesn't seem to be a problem though because the coroplast boxes I made are very sturdy and well attached (with packing tape) to the cubes.

Re: C&C cage big enough?

hellokitty, I suggest you make a new thread. Did you try to make a c&c cage? It should be about 2x6 or more. I just read your profile, and it says that you have a boar, sow and 2 babies. Do you keep all 4 together or seperately because the female may be pregnant again

HelloKitty, read www.cavycages.com. Go to the how-to page.

If the table's tpp narrow, how about just using a set of cubes and making a stand that way? Worked for me.
