Is cloroplast easy to clean? Does the urine stick to it and ruin it? Has anyone had to change their cloro? What should I put on top to protect it if so? Right now I have newspaper and aspen on my bottom level, and towels and fleece on the top level. Is this ok?

Re: Question about Cloroplast I have yet to make my own cage, but I am pretty sure that since all coroplast is is corrugated plastic, it would be as simple as cleaning the bottom of a pet store cage, though much bigger, thank God.

Re: Question about Cloroplast yes that is correct about the cleaning. because it is plastic, the urine doesnt stick to it. just remember to give it a good cleaning with water and vinegar at least once a week. your way of putting down newspaper and aspen is perfect.

Re: Question about Cloroplast Coroplast is really easy to clean, just wipe it down with vinegar/water mixture. I keep mine in a spray bottle and do it once a week. Depending on the color of your coroplast, it may stain from the bedding. I have used pine, carefresh, newspaper, fleece and towels. Also, the piggies nails will scratch it up a bit and make it rough. But once it's clean and you reline it with the bedding, you can't tell and it lasts forever.

Re: Question about Cloroplast Sounds like you're doing everything just fine! If there are any spots left on the coro, just spray it with the vinegar, let it sit for a good 10 or 15 minutes, and wipe it off. Good as new!
