My piggies meet.

Well not really but they can now see and smell each other at least! I don't have the piggie planet built yet (have a feeling it'll be after Christmas as we're swamped) so they're still in their crappy pet store cages unfortunately.

So cute seeing them sniff at each other through the bars! When we first put the cages together Molly (the baby) was a bit nervous so she kinda sat in the corner and sniffed the air every now and then. Until Cookie (adult we got recently) started wheeking, then Molly jumped and ran around the cage! Not sure if I'd call it a popcorn or a "HOLY MOLY what was that!"! LoL Soon enough they were both sniffing at each other and biting the bars trying to get to each other. Hopefully that's a good sign that they'll get along OK but we'll see! The piggie planet is going to be big enough that we can easily divide it with plenty of room for each pig if worst comes to worst.

Oh and of course as soon as the cages are beside each other I see Cookie scratching for the first time! LoL Hopefully it was just an itch but if it continues I guess we'll be heading to the vet with both of them!

Looking forward to salad time tonight! Hopefully Molly can teach Cookie to eat a few more things as she's much pickier. Probably because I don't think she got much more than carrots from her previous owner. Though that probably won't happen until they're actually sharing a salad and not just eating next to each other.

Anyway I'm just excited to be a bit closer to having them together! I can't wait until I can start proper intros and get them into a decent cage! Gotta get some decent pics to post too. I think Molly's a silky (was told an angora but I believe that's a silky right?) but I'm not sure about Cookie. She's got longer hair that's about the same length as Molly at the moment but hers is much coarser. Especially on her butt. Now that might be from bad diet but I haven't noticed much improvement yet so I dunno? Hopefully I can find the camera software that DH lost and upload some pics soon!

(Sorry this was so long but I babble when I'm happy! LOL!)
