Introductions

Hi everyone
Im getting a teachers pet cavy this summer. Its a little girl. I want to get her another girl to be friends with. What is the best way to introduce two female cavys?

My mom had a consern with this. I already have are great relationship with Cali. She really likes me. If i get her another cavy to be with, is it possible that Cali would like the new cavy more than me? and not want to play with me. I really hope not.

Im really excited about Cali coming. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas.

Thanks
~Laura

Re: Introductions

I think Cali would be really happy to have a female companion.

I'm sure that the fun you'll get out of them interacting with each will far outweigh any lonliness on your part due to Cali not having to depend on you for companionship.
Besides you'll have two piggies to love and play with.

Read all the advice on Cavy Social Life at www.cavyspirit.com/sociallife.htm - and follow the advice on adding a second cavy.

Roll on summer!
