Question Should I call my vet?

I found some white dry urine on the blue fleece in my piggy's cage. There is a line of it that is half white and half yellow (it looks green but I think that is just because of the blue fleece). They are open untill 8pm so I could probably figure out a way to get him there. Is this somthing to worry about?

Re: Should I call my vet?

I forgot to say that I dont think its an excess of calcium. His diet consists of tymothy hay, oxbow cavy cuisine, romain lettuce, swiss chard, baby carots (one daily), one baby tomatoe a day, and a few slices of green bell pepper.

Can we see a picture maybe? If you're concerned it's never a bad idea to get it checked out. If it's a boar, prehaps it's boar glue?

It is a boar but what is boar glue? I will try to find the cord for the camera and take a picture.

It's a hard white substance that boars excrete. I think something like semen(but I've never had boars, I've just seen some people post about it on the board)

Have you checked Guinea Lynx?

Re: Should I call my vet?

I think I will call my vet and see what they say. I will ask them if I should come in just in case, better safe than sorry.

Re: Should I call my vet?

Ok I just got off the phone with the vet and they told me to cut swiss chard out of his diet and give romain lettuce less probably more as a treat. I will ask about other leafy greens in the diet and nutrition section. Thanks for all the help.
