should i be worried?

when we got piggy out today for floor time he sat in his house bobbing his head up and down. he did it for a couple of seconds then stopped. when we put him back in the cage he started to run around and popcorn. we took him to our vet 2 weeks ago and he got a clean bill of health. anyone know why he was head bobbing?

Yes. He's eating as I am typing this reply. I'm thinking maybe he was scared since his teeth were chattering.

Re: should i be worried?

Was he smelling a spot where he peed?

When our piggies smell pee spots (whether their own, or another's) they bob their heads up and down while sniffing. Sometimes they chatter their teeth while smelling, but usually not.

Re: should i be worried?

Looks like mine are trying to lick it up when they do it. I wouldn't put it past them.

Re: should i be worried?

I've seen mine do that when they are smelling something that isn't like normal or a usual smell they smell everyday.
