This is for Hartz Bonaza food. I don't know if you purchased the Bonaza Food or Orignal Hartz food.
The ones I highlighted in red are bad. There was a ton of other stuff that I thought was bad. But I wasn't sure....

Alfalfa Meal- Only for pregnant (sometimes) or guinea pigs under a year.
Dyes- Why? There is no need for dyes
Corn and Ground Corn- No need for it, no nutritional value
Raisins- Bad
Peanuts- fattening
Ethoxyquin-BAD BAD BAD!
Animal fat- why?
Dehydrated Egg--Why? Guinea pigs are herboivores
Corn Flakes- bad

Re: anotherquestion

Read the ingredients. If you see any on there that are the same as the ones in red, then its not good

Re: anotherquestion

You can get them at www.oxbowhay.com. You will need Cavy Performance (alfalfa-based). After the pigs are over a year old, they'll need to switch over to the Cavy Cuisine (timmy-based). Make sure they have plenty of hay and veggies as well!

Overall, this is one of the worst foods you can buy.

Contains animal products--wrong, for one, and pigs are herbivores.
Alfalfa is for pregnant sows or pigs under a year.
Alfalfa is not first.
Contains ethyoxiquin, which is toxic.
Flavoring added.
Much of the veggies aren't necessary and have lost vitamins when dehydrated. Just eye candy. (peas, carrots, etc.)
Fruits are too high in sugar.
Nuts are a choking hazard and are fatty.
Oil is fatty.
Corn is a cheap filler with no nutritional value.
Not sure why limestone is here.
Raisins potentially toxic.
