Hi Everyone, I need some advise on how to travel with my two piggy boys , let me give you some of the details. I have two boys( Prince and Royal). Prince traveled with me fine from new Jersey to my home in Central Mexico, so I'm not worried about him, but Royal has never been in a car longer than 10 minutes. He is the one I am very worried about, He is kinda skittish. I also don't know how to make a traveling cage for them, we are going to be on the road( Back to New Jersey) for about a week, then we are staying in New Jersey for a year. We are going to be in tight spaces bacause we are going to be packed wth stuff for 6 people for a year plus a dog, hamster, and my 2 boys in a seven pasenger van. i really need some kind of suggestions ( leaving my animals isn't a good suggestion). Please if you have any suggestions or ideas please give them to me. I'll be leaving in a few weeks and need to start planning. Thanks for all your help. ME

Re: I need helping with traveling probblems. I was about to link you to a post I made a long time ago about traveling advice, then I realized it was you who started that thread in the first place! Did any of the advice I gave you help? (http://www.guineapigcages.com/forum/...traveling.html) Last edited by envisionary333 : 07-21-07 at 05:36 pm.

Re: I need helping with traveling probblems. A 1x1 isn't large enough for even one pig for traveling a long distance.

Re: I need helping with traveling probblems. I completely agree. In the original post, I recommended a small dog carrier with solid sides and a handle. It's portable and provides a sense of security, plus they come in several different sizes.

Re: I need helping with traveling probblems. I completly agree with Ly&pigs and envisionary. 1 by 1 is way to small for my boys especcially for a week in the car. I think I'm going to bye the small dog carrier. Thanks for the advise.
