| You guys taught me lots... Sorry for the poor grammar. Anyway, I went to the vet with my four babies yesterday, and they all have a clean bill of health! (Thank God... I was a little worried for my two pet store girls... but turns out nothings wrong with any of them). They were all very good, except my little wheeker Snickers. Poor girl, you'd think they were ripping out her eyelashes (do pigs have eyelashes?) when they were clipping her nails. My vet, Dr. Carrie, is awesome, and I'm taking my rats to her in a week and a half to make sure all is well with them also. Dr. Carrie kept asking me if I knew this or that about my piggles, and I kept saying "Yep, yes, yep, uhuh." She then stopped and was like "Do you have any questions?" I responded "nope. I did a lot of online research." I felt smart... thanks everyone! Also, I wanted to say this. Earlier today, I was doing like some of you do on the Craigslist, and I looked at Harrisburg, and lo and behold... there was a guinea pig "free to a good home." I panicked, and immediately emailed the lady. So, I'm getting a new pig in two weeks. It's a neutered male (I believe.. if not, he's getting neutered because 5 is my limit), so that'll be a new experience for my ladies. I will do the norm, quarantining and such. I am so excited! Thanks, all of you, for the hard work you put into this forum and into guinea pigs... and because of you, I saved a guinea pig from the possible clutches of someone who'd use them as a feeder or whatever. |

| Re: You guys taught me lots... I'm so glad you got a clean bill of health! I think good pets are really pleased when they meet an owner who already knows so much about their pets. Good luck with the new boy |

| Re: You guys taught me lots... Way to go! So glad the babies are well, and a super big pat on the back for you for doing your homework and giving them a good home with a great piggie-parent! Can't wait to see pigtures of them. Put on some pictures of your rats too...they're awesome pets, and soooo spoil-able!! Quote:

| Re: You guys taught me lots... By the way, I think your piggies will have a lot of fun with a boy toy in the group. It really spices things up! Ever since I added my neutered boy to my group of nine girls, everyone has been popcorning so much more! It's great entertainment! ![]() |
