| When getting new pigs... Next week I'm *hopefully* going to be adopting two female cavies from a shelter about 1.5 hours from me (I say hopefully because I haven't gotten a response from the shelter as to whether or not they're still there, but as of Tuesday they were, so I'm hopeful). I know that they need to be quarantined from Madison and Michigan, but my question is do I need to separate them from each other? I've been told they're a mother/daughter pair. Or can they remain together in their quarantine? I'm so excited and I've totally got my hopes up about this, I've been looking for a few months now. Thanks! |

| Re: When getting new pigs... If their a pair they can be quarantined together unless one of them is obviously ill and the other seems fine. I hope you get the girls! Hope to see some pigtures soon! Fay |
