| Re: do i adopt another guinea pig? They do better in pairs. Most of the rescues only adopt in pairs. Singles are only adopted to be friends with existing piggies. I have 4 piggies (I just adopted a female for my neutered male). I also have 1 foster piggie, Harry, that I picked up at the animal shelter, they do not adopt out anything but dogs and cats, and if a rescue doesn't pick em up then they put them to sleep good luck, I hope you decide to adopt. |

| Re: do i adopt another guinea pig? Piggies are best in pairs or more as they are social animals. Even if you spend loads of time with them it's still best for them to have a friend of their own kind. two isn't really that much more work than one |
