Poppy Pig? My precious lil piggi does the oddest thing when he is placed on my boyfriends bed... He hops and shakes his head. I've heard of the term 'popcorning' and I'd just like to know if he is unhappy or not. He has the pillows to burrow under (which he loves to do) but sometimes he'd just hop 'n shake. Also the other night I let him under my duvet to snuggle and he ran (at a high speed) up and down the length of the bed for ages. I have never seen him so hyper and after a while he did his high pitched "mommy where are you" scream

Re: Poppy Pig? And what about his acrobatics then squealing? The popcorning could be he is happy to run around with the dog, Cuddles. My piggi has a jack russel as a friend... odd for a terrier to like a guinea pig... and Maddox loves to sit with the dog.

Re: Poppy Pig? I think he's just excited and happy. It does sound like he's popcorning too. My pig Oda, who is very silly, will try to popcorn in his hammock, which is not a stable surface, and he ends up falling over and rolling around on his back. He does it repeatedly so I guess it must be fun! I would worry if your guy seemed listless; being active is always (I think) a good sign. As far as the weeking, you're probably right that he just gets a bit disoriented and wants to know where you are. He sounds cute! I only have one cuddly pig and she's not overly cuddly either, just likes to be petted.
