Determination pays off...

the pet shop that i live near has finally listened to my nagging, . but seriousley, i have made a complaint to the manager about the living conditions for the piggies that he was selling, and how much better it would be for them and the piggies if the coditions were improved. i gave him a list of sites and feed company sites to see for himself and even offered to help with preparing the cages. so now he built 2 2x3 c&c cages for them and uses carefresh for bedding and had built them a hay rack 8o (that really shocked me) and he has a strict policy now that when it comes to purchasing piggies that they are purchased in pairs and the purchaser is given instructions on proper care and nutrition. he'll be ordering hay from now on from oxbow. too bad pet shops don't sell the organizer cubes instead of the "way too small" cages, the manager was impressed that i was so well informed about guinea pigs and kind of upset that none of his workers brought any of these things to his attention.

thanks, i felt i had to do something for those poor piggies. so now from time to time i always stop by the store to see how they're doing, but i don't think the workers like me very much, . but i don't care, . i had told them about it before i had went to the manager, but they just ignored me about the whole thing. boy they're lucky i don't work there, .

I've never used carefresh, but I'm just curious, why is it so great? I understand in comparason to wood shedding but to towels or newspaper?
