?? do cavy's get hairballs ?? i have a slight problem, i had caught my abyssian chewing on my silike's hair and its been kinda hurting the silkie near the hind quarters. never seen it happen before, i've heard of it happening but i've never seen it happen for myself. so now i'm worried will all of that hiar she might have digested (the abyssian), will she suffer from hairballs the way rabbits do?? and is there somethig that i can put on my silkies hair to discourage the hair choping ??

Re: ?? do cavy's get hairballs ?? wow. I just read something on this. In fact, all the hair comes out in the poop. Does the one being groomed not like this? You might want to seperate them if it's really bad.

Re: ?? do cavy's get hairballs ?? It's called barbering. I have a shetlie who does this to herself and another of my pigs. It doesn't seem to cause either any problems apart from looking a bit messy sometimes
