| potatoes I read a thread that guinnea's shouldn't have potatoes. What do you mean, I give mine peelings about once a week and they seem to do fine with them. Is this wrong. |

| Re: potatoes I also give mine the peelings. I've read somewhere not to give them any green or bad parts and that otherwise it's okay. My personal opinion is that they are just fine to feed to GPs. |

| Re: potatoes the green is posionous and I think the plant is too. not certain about the rest. personally I won't feed them as there may be green pieces inside I can't see. Green pototo are a know health hazard to humans, possibily linked to cancer |

| Re: potatoes My list that the rescue gave me says: potatoes - poisonous if green or sprouted. sweet potatoes/yams are ok. |
