Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
I just bought a weighing scale today and I weighed all my piggies. Now my question is how often do I have to weigh them? Also is there somewhere where I can see what is the average weight for the guineapigs around the age area? Thanks. |

I weigh my pigs weekly, as most of us do unless we suspect there is a problem with the pigs not eating. Be sure to keep a record. As for the someplace where you can see what the average weight is for the age of the guinea pig, I am not sure. I do know I seen one on sows on guinealynx someplace, but not sure exactly where. |

http://www.guinealynx.info/weigh.html I weigh mine weekly, as well. I also use this for conversions of any kind: http://www.easysurf.cc/cnver3.htm It's so cool because it's interactive. In other words, you enter the value you know and it calculates it into the value you desire. Hope that helps! |
