AND this is so true for PetsMart as well. You have to look at the big picture, money is the business motivation for their survival for a business. The pet shops can still make money without selling the animals and they know it, they are just using them as ploys to get more people in their stores to buy more supplies. That is like a clothing store selling children so they can make more money off of kids clothes.
Okay so that is a bit extreme, but look at the big picture. Business + money + more money = greed.
Greed is one of the most selfish, immoral acts in human nature.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, you learned first hand the horrors of pet shops. Although you can't bring baby back, you now know what's right and may be helping out piggies in need.
