My six week old sow is secreting a white substance around the vaginal area. I can't be sure if it's coming straight from the vagina or not. It looks like it's near the top of her area. I called my vet but she was home aleady. Anyone know if this is normal or not? |

If it's a goopy, globby type of white substance it's quite normal. Your sow is coming into heat and expelling her mucus plug. She will develop another when she goes out of heat. If it's a white liquidy substance that looks like white pee, that's just extra calcium being expelled. |
