Your pig may seem joyful but if he is alone, he probably isn't that joyful. I really hope you can find him a friend. Guinea pigs are herd animals and do best with friends.

Well, until such time as you can get another, just spend as much time interacting with him as possible, and give him interesting things to do. Lots of floor time, things to play with in his cage, interesting and different foods, and of course lot's of snuggle time with you!

Most pigs really don't like being alone (unlike my Louise, but she's an oddball). I know the foster pig I have right now seems very lonely, and I really hope she gets adopted by someone who will give her a friend.
