Smile Free Whee!!

[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]I have a 3 1/2 yr. old TSW abby sow named PeeWhee. (so named for a targeted act of urination at the tender age of 4wks.)

Anyhow, PeeWhee loves to play. Play, play, play. Play all day. (what don't us stupid humans seem to understand?) Food and water come second to play, in PeeWhee's book. Recently, there were two consecutive days when my husband told PeeWhee that he would let her play...later. On both days, however, he failed to keep his word. On day three, he let PeeWhee out to play on the rug. She ran around for a few minutes and then began pawing at his leg and nudging his foot trying to get his attention. Sucker that he is, my husband lifted PeeWhee up and let her snuggle on his shoulder.

Guess what PeeWhee did a moment later?

This morning I went down to the spare bathroom to get ready for work. Husband was sleeping in because he had the day off. After getting dressed, I started toward the kitchen to make my lunch. I had only made it halfway across the livingroom when I saw PeeWhee trot out from behind my recliner and head for the litterhouse. (my first thought was that she had somehow figured out how to climb out of her cage which was a good 3 ft. off of the floor) Then, another thought occured to me.

I went to the master bdrm. and shook husband awake. "Did you put PeeWhee out last night?"

"Yes, " he mumbled.

"Well, ...you FORGOT to put her back!!"

No wonder PeeWhee was so happy.

Re: Free Whee!!

thats sooo funny, I did that once with my piggies, but not all night, I usually keep them in the living room when having free play time because that is where all the cords have been tied up out of reach, anyway My smokey had been chewing on the cage to come out, I had been too busy to let them out earlier in the day, when they finaly got out they were so happy skipping and jumping and running through the curtains at the sliding door....at about 1 in the morning my husband and I finished our movie watching and decided to go to bed but I heard something in the dark bedroom , I almost peed my pants thinking it was a robber when out run Smokey and Brian with a sock they found under the bed, I was laughing so hard, now I put up the gate when ever they come out just in case, ha ha.

Re: Free Whee!!

That is adorable! With a 50 pound hunting hound though, leaving any of my pigs out all day would be a recipie for disaster!!
