| do u have to pay... do u have to pay to get ur gp a chekc up with da vet? i mean if da gp has a problem n the vet helps cure it, then i have to pay right? n if nothing happens to it, i dont have to pay right? i dont have much money... |

Please, your posts are difficult to try to decipher when you use netspeak. Yes, it costs to have your guinea pig checked by a vet, even if there is nothing wrong. I would suggest calling your vet and finding out what a well visit costs. |

| The only time you don't have to pay a consultation fee is when you bring your animal in already knowing what's wrong with it, so there is no need for a check up. There's also no charge for repeat prescriptions and post-op checkups, but for everything else, unless the vet is very kind and empathetic, there will be a consult fee. |
