Pictures!!!! Good news and bad news.

Ok, i ended up buying a digital camera to take pictures of my girls but unfortunately i just can't stop (i so need help... hehe). My wallpaper on my puter is my girls and have about 100 pictures in a directory i made just for them. =)

This is Darla just munchin on some hay, surprisingly enough they 'never' actually climb into to, just put a foot in at most. It's cute as hell though!

Here's Ginny posing for the camera, though Darla just couldn't stand her sister getting all the attention so decided to shove her nose in (top right corner). =)


Darla was actually running around and popcorning with this one piece of lettuce for several minutes before she decided to stop and pose for the camera. It's so funny to see, with such small mouths, i'm not sure how she runs around with food (her sister certainly doesn't do it). hehe

If these pictures are to big, i appologise. I don't really know how to resize them.

Haha... that would be so cute to see. Little piggy nose sticking out of a bunch of hay. =) As for pignapping, well good luck catching them! Not to mention, they have a big pink, stuffed bear to protect them. =)

My cage is actually a 4X6 c&c (i made a second level only a few days ago but the girls really didnt like it, so just made it bigger instead) and am thinking of long term care when i say that i'd certainly like to get two more girls (or neutered boy/s). I hear so many stories of piggies loosing their best friend later in life and want to make sure they have other friends to 'lean on'. Cross you fingers that i find a couple more to 'rescue' soon. =)

I love it when they run with food in their mouths. Louise always grabs her baby carrot and does a lap of her cage, banging the carrot against everything before she settles in the back corner to devour it. It's almost like she's trying to kill it first!

I fell in love with Darla. I will pignap her. I will set up a time and a plan with the others who want to pignap too. I will get one distract the bear, another to distract the other pig and I will go on with my plan. Than the others can go on with theirs. Where do you live? Just kidding.
They are too cute, the pictures are perfect.

Abyruvians? She looks just like my Maisey but the colors are different. I thought she was an abysissian Guinea pig....what is the difference? Is it the long hair on their tush?

Honestly i wasn't sure what type my girls were (other then cute as hell.. hehe). Are they Abysissian? I hate not knowing. =)

Janetangel, wow... you've definately come up with one good plan. I'll have to bring in another big pink bear. You can distract one, the the second will sneak up on you. =)

Coopdog, i so agree! It doesn't look like their capable of running with food but it's so funny to watch isn't it! =)

Below i placed a picture of the cage. Unfortunately i don't have a ton of toys or anything yet but i'm workin on it. My sister actually came down just to see the cage and her jaw dropped by the size. She's now calling it the guinea pig theme park. =)

Aw, your girls are so adorable! Cute story about the popcorning with lettuce. Don't worry.. I'm constantly taking pictures of all my pets.. especially my pigs and kitty. I don't think my camera gets much use otherwise!

By the way.. nice size on that cage. I bet they love it!

I will bring more people to distract the other bear. You will have to get many of them. Might get a little crowded though.
The guinea pig theme park cracked me up.
I am still gaining toys and stuff. I was talking tonight with my dad's contractor partner. He had big plastic pipes in the back of his work truck. I told him I want some of those for my piggies. He said there are a bunch back in the junk pile on the back part of the property, help yourself. I brought home a couple of them and some bricks. He said I can have anything over there. It is mostly construction stuff, but it is funny what ordinary things you can use for them.

Well good to know i'm not the only one that's camera happy with my piggies. I swear i get the shakes if i'm not taking their pictures. =)

O, Ginny and Darla absolutely adore the cage. Talk about running their little hearts out. I'm trying to get a picture of them sleeping on their pink teddy's lap, but always forget when it's happening. =)

Janetangle: Hey, i'm sure you can get lots of fun stuff for piggies from old construction odds and ends. Nice thing about piggies are their easily amused! Or was that i'm easily amused... now sure but you can still get awesome stuff! =)

Haha, Disneyland. =) When i find lots of toys i'm sure it will!!! =)
