| This has something thats kinda bugged me for a while. Why do some people use the name 'Cavy' to refer to Guinea Pigs? I know it's probably something to do with their scientific name, but if I ever told someone that I owned a Cavy, they would think me mad. I suppose the name just isn't used that much in the UK? Personally I think the name 'Guinea Pig' sounds much more cuter, and more suited to what they are :P |
