Question Strange Behavior

Today while I was holding my Gp, she started to raise up her head and sniff around. Then she started "chattering" with her teeth. She has never done that before. Then after a while she did what looked like a big yawn. She has never done that before either. She is my only piggy. Does anybody know what she is doing? Thanks

Unless you did something to piss her off, she might be doing a fairly slow chatter, more like a chomp chomp chomp. Your piggie might be just grinding its teeth. The yawn is just that - a yawn. She's relaxed.

A faster chatter means she's angry.

There is a piggie "war yawn", most often seen during introductions, that's a piggie showing how big and bad her teeth are.

My pig chatters at me all the time. If I have her on my lap, you can guarantee that she will chatter at me sometime before asking to be put back. Sometimes I think she hates me - but she comes up to me for veggies, wheeks at me, and comes up to me during floor time. I think maybe it might just be a habit? Well I hope so anyway.

Star Happy or Sad

Well I dont know about the chattering thing but I know that Amy is happy when she gives soft quiet squeaks. Or when she purrs. Sometimes she popcorns (or kind of runs and jumps at the same time :P) when she is real excited. I also know that she makes this kind of warning squeak when she isnt very happy.
