| Hi all! I have a 5 year old sow, Pumpkin. She has had a bad diarrhoea problem lately! It has just been oozing constantly!!! She also has a "wet butt" which no vet knows what it is or how to help it. We have heard that Timothy Hay helps diarrhoea, but her whole 3'x4' C&C cage is cover in timothy hay insted of bedding and it does not seem to help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

| My senior boar was having problems with diharrea also.(he is around nine)It was suggested not to feed him ANY veggies for like a week. It actually worked pretty well. His problem reoccures every-so often and then it goes away.Make sure she is eating and drinking. She could dehydrate very quickly. If it doesnt clear up soon I would take her to the vets. You should also check out www.Guinealynx.com Last edited by CavySpirit : 06-21-04 at 12:28 am. Reason: Removed reply to troll.
