 Newbie Here! Hello, all! I am new to this site and just wanted to say hi and tell you a little bit about myself! My name is Andrea, I'm 25, married with four kids and have been raising guinea pigs for over 15 years. It all started as a 4-H project and now look where I am!  I am also in the process of starting up a guinea pig rescue center for guinea pigs in Iowa. Pass the word around! Anyone else here from Iowa? I will post some pics of my piggies later! |

 Another Newbie Hi! I am also new here. My name is ReBecca and I am also 25. I am a graduate student right now, working on my MS in Geology. I just got my first guinea pig in Feb. He has been alot of fun so far and a learning experience. I am looking to get him a buddy soon. When I get a digital camera or some good photos I will post them. We also have 2 cats and 2 cockateals, so we have quite the happy little animal family  |

| Hi I am also pretty new to the site but I have had my Cavy for four years! I would like to get her a friend but my mother isnt so sure .do you have any encouraging words that I can give to her? |

 Hi, I am kind of new here too. Im so happy, I just got my first Guinea pig yesterday!! Its a black and white male guinea pig (not sure of the breed). I plan to take pictures with my digital camera soon and hopefully make a web site. |

| KMKrazy--- you could tell your mom that they are better off with buddies! Plus, it doesn't cost that much more to get a 2nd pigger. My technique of getting two piggies was rather rebellious though... I just came home with two rather than one! I knew they would never make me take one back to the rescue! |
