Outside, I just wont

I have 3 guinea pigs that I usually put outside from May to october, in these tiny little wire bottom cage and bring then in the other months. I found this site in January and my view on how they should be caged has totally changed, and they are still inside. Now my mom is saying that they have to go back outside but I know that its best for them to stay in the house. I just really dont know what I can do here? any advise would be a great help

Fanch, one thing that you might try, I don't know how successful it would be, but you could print out all of the pages on G.L. and on this site about housing and bedding and about how bad wire bottom cages are. You could explain to her the importance of your piggies health and how much they mean to you. You could also try to bribe her in sorts by telling her that you will do extra chores if she lets you keep them inside. The thing is that if you say you will do the extra chores, you must not be like me and forget about them, you must actually do them hehe. I hope that this helps you.
