Rocket gets his overdosed pampering on my birthday!

Well, after my inability to post on the forums. I am back, and I'm going to tell you about my pigs great day. Today I got his bum all trimmed up, and I gave him the masters bath, with lathering guinea pig shampoo. He loved it! (He never likes baths!!). But now that he has no matts and a silky soft fur coat, he seems to love me alot more! Thank goodness, I thought there was no hope...

But here's an unfortunate, off-topic scenario:

While I gave him the best time o' his life, I noticed how he tends to scratch at his leg with his teeth. Is this a bad thing??

Did you treat him for mites? I can't remember if you had or not. If he's itching a lot I'd do it just to be safe.

Ya I would, he doesnt itch too much. And if he does, it will be his leg. I tried convincing my mom to get the invermectin shot. But she doesnt want me to do it until he starts to scab. I think he's fine right now though. I'll wait until he starts to really scratch. He's booked for a check-up on Monday though.
