can i ask a question about food here?

i've been looking, but there's no subject that indicates food things does any one know what is high on vitamin c (besides tablets or something like that) ... i know oranges have lots of vit. C .. but my gp isn't eating it ... and i keep reading how he needs lots and lots of vit C.

I keep getting more and more confused as i read all the info i find here. it seems like i'm doing everything wrong, cause i really have no other choice for my piggies food, cage location, cage size.. etc. ... is it all really that bad?

It has a list of all the fruits and Vegies high in Vitamin C, though you will have to look at other pages to see what should be fed in what amounts

You aren't doing everything wrong. You just didn't know. This site makes suggestions for the happiness and healthiness of your guinea pig. We understand every cavy owner does their best to provide for their piggies, we just try and educate people as to what would be optimum for the pigs. The sooner you can do things like upgrade cage/bedding/food the better but we do understand that for some people it takes time to be able to do it.

If you need any more advice or recommendations feel free to ask. The site guinealynx.com is one of the best recources we have for our guinea pigs and that is a good thing to look around and see what you can do to improve the life of your guinea pig.

Just learn as much as you can, and change what you can for the future .
