Question Your Advice Please

My Guinea Pigs seem to be afraid of me. So I was wondering how I go about with them being relazed around me. Should I handle them more? Or sit with them at floor time to let them get to know my sent and voice. Im not sure exactly what to do. o_O Couldnt any one give me suggestions on what to do? I would appreciate it.

Talking

First of all you have to relize that gp's are very timid animals by nature. But you can make them less afraid of you, by doing the things that you said in your post. Hold them every day and spend time talking to them. I give my gp's veggies out of my hand everyday. I have seen this sugetion on the form : When you give them floor time, don't give them any hiddy hole. You sit in there area, and let them use you as there hidding space. Let them run under your legs, etc. At first they will be shy, but give it time and they were warm up to you.

U need to accompany them more. Sit beside the cage talk to them, let them recognize ur voice. Food handling them, touch them & not neccessary everytimes must take them out hold. So that they will get used to u.
