| What to put on a Deep cut one of my cavys rescently had a chunk tooken out of him.A little fight caused this with one of his brothers.Anyways im wondering should i put polysporn on it and then bandage it up.or leave it how it is. |

| If he can reach it to lick it I wouldnt put anything on it. When that happened to mine he healed Very quickly on his own. I would just make sure it is clean and not infected. |

| If it's a big wound, I should have it checked by the vet to make sure it doesn't get infected. If you want any more advice on what to do then try posting at Guinea Lynx http://www.guinealynx.info/forums/ as that's a forum for medical problems, so you should have more luck getting advice. |

| Well its healing pretty well for the size of it.No infection at all thankfully |

| I have a sow that had a cut on her back that she could reach by licking and could reopen all the time by scratching I put medicated Bag balm on and it cleared up in 2 days and has not reopened. I have also used this on a couple other spots on my other pigs and they also have healed quite nicely.l |
