Question he's crazy....

Oh my! My four month old GP is crazy. He has a guest for the last two weeks, and his cage is now split in half. He still has CG 2x2, house, tube, hay stack and chews. where the wall is he can see through to is friend and they are always talking. He has LOTS of floor time, and lots of cuddle time. This is the problem: He races around his cage, hes found the newspaper underneath nd is now ripping/ eatting it. Is that ok? I like to line the cage with paper for easier clean up.
He will soon have his whole cage again but i do need tips on other things he could play with. He loves his tube but needs something he can do whils hes so hyper!
Thank you!

Tearing and eating newspaper are fine. Some pigs do it more than others. Maybe if you gave him a ball of roll up news paper he would stop tearing up his cage lining. this is also a good toy. they like picking it up and tossisg it all over the place. good luck.

My pig also shreds and eats her newspaper lining. Normally at night. Loudly. But I find that if she gets loads of hay she'd rather gorge on that than bother with the newspaper. Nice tip though about the newspaper ball, I'll definitely try it.
