How are GP's sight?
The other day I was plying with my gp on the floor and i had a carat that i was feeding him. Well I moved the carrot about six inches away from were is was, and it took him a suprisenly long time to find out were i moved it. Is my GP going blind or are all GP like this??

do u show him the carot 1st, then only move it slowly
so that he notices where's the carot

I find that they're very good at seeing movement, but not so good at telling what things are! Usually with food the nose takes over and leads the way, but it's not unusual for a pigger to miss something that you think they should be able to see.
If you notice he's bumping in to things a lot, or really having a lot problems finding his way around and his food etc, then blindness may be an issue and you can take him along to your vet to have him checked out. But from what you've just said, it doesn't sound at all concerning.

From what I've read about gps' vision their depth perception isn't too good so that their ability to judge distance by vision alone isn't that great.

From what I notice with my pigs. When I wave things like newspaper or towel, they would come near. When I just lay it there, they will also go to it.
For their sight, it's only working when somethings moving. Everything still, the nose will take over.
