Thumbs up Well, here we go again

It seems like only yesterday my first piggy died. Really, it was May 21st, 2002. But I have a chance of getting a new one now. It's about time .

if you look at my specs you see my cage isn't big enough. Well, that's that. But my old pig got a lot of excercise in the yard and the room his cage is in anyway, he got let out at least twice daily.

Why does nobody lose a pig to cancer but me?

Unhappy

I lost my female Zoe to cancer in January... she stopped eating and drinking one day (A Sunday) and I called the vet first thing Monday morning took her in that evening, they told me to force feed her and call if she got worse, on Tuesday I took her to work with me so I could feed her every couple of hours and by the time I was getting ready to go home I realized she was just lying on her side and wouldn't move at all... so I took her straight back to the vet and unfortuanatly after x-rays and everything they could do I saw she was suffering and dying before my very eyes and had to make the decision to put her down (my first pet I had to make the decision for). After I left they did an autopsy on her for me and my vet called and told me it was cancer I still miss her more then I can express!

and even though I swore off anymore cavys I got another!!

When it was hot last year I lost a 2 of mine, We did everything but i was so hard to keep them cool. Then even had their own fans in the cage and ice bottles.

I never thought about an ice bottle for them to lay around hehe. Me i just put an ac in the room their in with a ceiling fan.The reason he died was because my mom had him outside in the shade but then eventually the sun came out and he was only in the sun for like 10 minutes. Well 10 minutes to long eh .
