It may be nothing, but I would take him to the vet. Lumps can be anything. Better safe than sorry. I've been through this w/ my last piggie and waited too long before doing anything and the guilt is horrible. Go to the vet, you'll feel better, no matter how it turns out. Good luck.

I have an older boar. he recently had a lump on his side. it was about the size of a large marble. I took him to the vet. they removed it just to be careful. We were lucky tough, it was just a bunch of skin pigment cells. i would take your pig to the vet, just to be sure. If your pig is on the older side i would take him to the vet asap. i hope your pig is lucky too.good luck.

ok we took him to the vet and they stuck this thing in it and sucked out all of the stuff to put it under the microscope and they said it was benign tumor and that he only had to take meds twice a day for 7-10 days

I am glad that you took him to the vet and that your piggie should be okay. Always better safe than sorry. I'm glad your mom helps you take care of your piggie. She's a great mom, I bet! Good luck with your gp.
