Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
I currently have 6 pigs (3 neutered boars/3 sows). I give them plenty of floor time on a daily basis. Every time I let them out for floor time they tend to "poop" all over the carpet. In a matter of 20 minutes I can have a over a handful of their feces (sorry to gross you out). I was wondering if any of you have encountered any similar problems with excessive amounts of feces during floor time? My assumptions are maybe it's because I feed them veggies/hay during floor time. Or perhaps it could be that they're nervous. Any advice would be helpful, thanks. |

Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 Yeah me too. I think you don't have to worry too much. When it's their first time to hae a floortime their poops are scattered around. But in time, they only poop and pee in 2 of the corner of the floor. |

Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 Our pigs are like that, too. We call George the "poop factory" affectionately of course. I think he just gets so excited he can't contain himself! Superman is not as bad about this, but he pees a lot. What a subject!!! LOL Good luck, Marie |
