Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post?
Question cage size

i currently have 2 girls in a ridiculously small 17x40 inch cage, and am building them a 2x4 grid cage as we speak. i want to move my other female in with them (i have 3) and was wondering if thats OK. I don't have enough space for a 2x5 cage, and it seems that they all get along good and have ample room in the 2x4 cage together...

If you are planning to keep 3 pigs together and don't have room for a 2 x 5, then build the 2 x 4 and just make sure you give them a bit of floor time to stretch their legs and burn off some energy. It's definitely far preferable to the current living arragements.

I'd also say it was definitely preferable to have three in a 2 x 4 than two in it and one pig living on her own elsewhere. Pigs should always have fellow piggy company!
