getting fat another question.... i leave the food in his cage all the time, should i do this?? Hes getting a belly, Hes three months old and i wasnt sure its for growing. I dont want to starve him, how many times a day should he eat? I work all day so i was thinking morning(9) and evening(7) I will leave his veggies out and water. Is this ok?

i find that hes just growing i do the same with all of mine a bowl a day for all of them. I say as long as they get floortime it'll be fine. unless your cavys got that glanderal problem that some people have but i doubt that very much .One of mine is almost 3 lb's but he doesnt look fat at all. The way you'll know if he is getting to fat is if you rub your fingers on his side if u feel his ribs without pushing hes fine but if you have to really push that means he pretty fat

That's ok. If you're worried about her getting fat, make sure she always have her floortime to run around and have an exercise.
